 2010 Awards Theme:  Cultivating Innovation for the Public Service of the Future

The CAPAM International Innovations Awards celebrates the spirit of innovation in the public service by recognizing those who have made significant contributions to improving governance and services in the public sector. In so doing, the award hopes to inspire and encourage innovators to improve public service governance, and the quality of life of citizens, communities and nations.

The 2010 CAPAM International Innovations Awards theme is Cultivating Innovation for the Public Service of the Future.

The 2010 awards welcomes innovations, programmes and initiatives that challenge current realities towards a vision of a more effective and responsive public service of the future.

A Survey of Innovation in the Public Sector

In conjunction with the 2010 International Innovation Awards, CAPAM is supporting a survey of all award applicants with the aim of improving our understanding about Innovation in the Public Sector.
The focus of the study is the relationship between leadership, organizational climate and successful innovation in the public sector. The role of champions is also examined.
