(June 2011) CAPAM Library of Public Administration Case Studies
The main objective of the CAPAM Library of Public Administration Case Studies project is to remedy the chronic scarcity of training case studies that reflect the diversity of Commonwealth country experiences. The library will serve to strengthen leadership training capacities in public service training institutions both through undertaking the process of authoring cases, and through the distribution and sharing of completed case studies.
In partnership with the Governance and Institutional Development Division (GIDD) at the Commonwealth Secretariat and in consultation with the Commonwealth Network of Public Service Training and Development Institutes, CAPAM is pleased to make available a series of 11 cases in the areas of:
· Leading Innovation and Change
· Performance Management Implementation
· Project Implementation
These cases represent the first phase of CAPAM’s effort to expand the availability of culturally relevant training material for public service development. With further support from donor agencies and public service organizations, we hope to continue building this shared resource. If you would like to make a case study available for sharing through the library, please send a copy for review to Ada Wong, Senior Manager, Partnerships and Publication at awong@capam.org.
We would like to offer our sincere thanks to the authors and authoring organisations of the case studies. Their tremendous contribution has initiated an important process that highlights what is possible when the diversity of Commonwealth experiences is brought together for shared learning and analysis.
