With the potential involvement of organizations from countries across the Commonwealth, the study will have a strong cross-cultural context, and will provide CAPAM members with invaluable comparative data about innovation practices worldwide.
In addition to the theoretical aspects of this research, the study will provide practitioners with a broad overview of innovation in the public sector, as well as answers to pressing questions such as: Where do innovators get their ideas? Where in organizations do innovations originate? Who are the key players in an innovation? What is their role? What are the main obstacles that innovators face? How are these obstacles overcome?
The research is being conducted at the Australian National University which is located in Canberra, Australia. The researcher is Mr. Jeremy Nolan.
