CAPAM Learning Programmes

CAPAM offers a variety of customised Learning Programmes in both national and regional formats to enhance and develop leadership skills and invest in human resources.  Over the years, CAPAM has provided hands on training and development to hundreds of senior public executives across the Commonwealth.  Each programme offers the opportunity to share in best practices, exchange knowledge, and build ongoing relationships that strengthen networks of professional contacts.

Working directly with national and local partners, CAPAM customises each programme to meet the needs of individual contexts and experiences.  In the past, they have addressed issues such as: management, governance, training and public executive issues, and leadership.

Enhancing Leadership in Citizen Service Delivery March 16, 2010 Initiatives to improve service delivery require strong leadership, finely honed expertise, and an understanding of successful service delivery principles and practices. Over the past decade, countries across the Commonwealth have implemented programmes and strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies in the delivery of government services. During this period, our understanding of the management principles for service delivery, and our appreciation for the opportunities and risks of e-Government have also matured. This learning programme will help participants examine their service delivery challenges in the light of these developments and help them devise strategies that are effective for their unique circumstances. > More
