2016 Biennial Conference
Innovation: A Public Service Imperative
Increasingly, the success of public administration and management around the world depends on effective innovation through the timely adoption of new approaches to solving existing problems and meeting emerging societal needs. CAPAM will be hosting the 11th CAPAM Biennial Conference in Putrajaya, Malaysia from 18-20 August 2016, under the theme Innovation: A Public Service Imperative. This important gathering of ministers, senior public servants, academics, public service practitioners and partner organisations is not to be missed.
The conference agenda is designed to offer insightful dialogue, theoretical and practical knowledge exchange and networking to an international audience of senior managers and administrators charged with leading innovation in policies and practices in various jurisdictions across the Commonwealth and beyond. To enrich and complement the three-day conference experience the host government will organise a unique and special programme of learning journeys for delegates. The conference program culminates with the presentation of the International Innovations Awards to recognise excellence in public service innovation.
