New Venue, New Date – CAPAM 2016 Biennial Conference in Putrajaya, Malaysia, 18-20 August, 2016
CAPAM is pleased to announce that a new venue for its 2016 Biennial Conference has been confirmed. This premier event will take place in Putrajaya, Malaysia from 18-20 August 2016 under the theme “Innovation: A Public Service Imperative”. CAPAM’s President, Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa demonstrated leadership and commitment in offering to support the event in Malaysia for a second time.
Political leaders, international experts and eminent practitioners will once again convene to share knowledge, discover best practices and expand networks with public service colleagues from around the globe. The conference programme includes the presentation of highly coveted awards in the public sector – the CAPAM International Innovations Awards (IIA) and the Gordon Draper Award for career excellence in public administration and management. As an added benefit, the 2016 Biennial Conference will be co-located with the 6th Commonwealth Ministers of Public Service Forum and the International Blue Ocean Strategy Conference, providing ample opportunities for stimulating interactions.
It is unprecedented for CAPAM to hold this event consecutively in the same region; however, the 2014 biennial in Putrajaya was a resounding success, with quality programming and considerable attendance, and we are looking forward to another successful biennial conference in Putrajaya in August 2016!
